As you can see on the last picture, the carter was severely damaged. The wheel was forced to the back, the exhaust is torn open. Al the stabilisors are moved and the engine is pushed back. On the outside you can see the dammage for yourself. Pretty good driving at 85 km/h. The seatbelt was clicked out (without having it on? on wath does it respond???) and a safety-pin came to the daylight. This whole system had to be replaced also! It costed 8.000 BFr (about 400,- DM). In the time that my car was being fixed, I had an Opel Kadett E 1.2S 4-door. A real grandfather's car. No option's, just the total basic, how dull, BUT... it was an Opel and than it's OK!!! The only thing that the car do well was drink a lot at the gasstation! But HELL, it was good enough to me...
