On an rainy evening, when I was driving to my work, I came at a red light. There were two lanes and I was standing on the left, as usuall, to do a little speeding with the car next to me on the right (Opel Astra 1.7D). The lights went green and we took off, both very fast (for two diesel's!). Then I looked in my right-side mirror to see how far I was ahead of the car next to me. That moment the Audi A4, that was leaving from his home, came over the two lanes to turn back in the opposit direction (very stupid!!!) I had 3 options, go right and crash into parked cars, go left and crash with a truck, or go straight ahaid into the Audi. I took the third option.  Not wearing my seatbelt I went at 85km/h into the Audi. I let my steering-wheel go and throwed myself to the passenger-seat. KABOEM!!! I immediatly set myself straight to see wath was happening. The Audi was trying to drive away to a safe place, but he couldn't. My engine was still running and I turned it off right-away. The Audi-man came to me and asked if I was allright. I got out, without saying anything, and I went to the front of the car. I looked at the front and I got down to the ground. Then I waked up a bit later and they were trying to start the car. I got up again, with some people holding me, and went to my car. I got in and started it but couldn't drive because the gearbox was loose.
Then I went to see wath had become of the Audi. It was total! I crashed into the rear-side making it look like an A3, and rebuilded his rear-axle. The next day when I looked at my car in the garage I said to myself, this girl MUST get back on the road again!!! The man from the garage said there was no more hope. NO WAY!!!
Talking to the insurrance-man I got what I wanted. It would cost the Audi-man 194.000BFr (+-9400,-DM). 2 months later I got a phonecall from my garage. They were trying to start her up but she wouldn't. Maybe she was going to be ready for Opel-heaven!!! I went to the garage and after starting for about five minutes she spit out a black cloud and she was ALIVE again!!! The day after we were back, the team that even an Audi A4 couldn't defeat!
